Skinny Minnie
While the attention in the last 24 hours has been focused on Jennifer Livingston, the LaCrosse, Wis., morning news anchor who responded to criticism about her weight on-air, another body-image issue has gone largely unheralded.
Minnie Mouse has gone skinny.
With awfully long legs.
The powers-that-be have apparently decided the Minnie Mouse we all know are love (or are indifferent to) doesn’t have the right appeal. So her mouse-head remains, but her legs have gotten a lot more elongated.
It’s kind of creepy. And if this is a body-image thing, well, Jennifer Livingston probably has supportive words for Minnie.
