Documentary followup

Thanks to Cinema Falls, I was able to see the documentary “The Queen of Versailles” a few weeks ago.

A friend just sent me this link to a letter that David Siegel, the mogul featured in “Queen of Versailles,” had sent to his employees.

I didn’t leave the documentary showing with a lot of sympathy for Siegel and his wife. She appeared dim and deluded, and he seemed downright mean.

Telling your employees how to vote? I think my first impression of Siegel might be correct.

P.S. Next Tuesday I’ll be at “Safety Not Guaranteed,” again thanks to Cinema Falls. Later this month Cinema Falls is bringing in “QWERTY.” And on Sunday I attended the matinee showing of “Sleepwalk with Me,” much funnier than most comedies I’ve seen lately.

Don’t mean to brag about my movie-going exploits. Cinema Falls just makes me so happy.

P.S. Cinema Falls has gotten a larger theater for next week’s showing of “Safety Not Guaranteed.” So if you dawdled, you have one last chance to get tickets.
