Oscar nominations
The best part about the Oscar nominations released a short time ago? I don’t have to feel guilty about never going to “Cloud Atlas.”
In case you haven’t seen it anywhere else, here is the list of Best Picture nominees:
“Lincoln,” “Life of Pi,” “Beasts of the Southern Wild,” “Amour,” “Argo,” “Django Unchained,” “Zero Dark Thirty,” “Silver Linings Playbook” and “Les Miserables.”
“Amour” and “Silver Linings Playbook” haven’t been to Sioux Falls, and “Zero Dark Thirty” opens tomorrow.
I have a bit of catching up to do, but I’m not going to worry about seeing “Django Unchained” before the ceremony. I’ve read a lot about it, but I just can’t bring myself to sit through all the violence.
