Jewelry suggestions

I’m not going to base my fashion choices on AARP (especially since I can’t possibly be that old), but yes, I got snookered into reading this article on three pieces of jewelry that will make you look younger.

The second suggestion struck me as funny. I’m not supposed to wear heavy or chandelier earrings but stick with studs and “light hoops.” Because I have done that for so many years, the piercings in my ears have become stretched out, and that makes me look old.*

The solution? Go to a cosmetic surgeon and have him sew the piercings shut, then when it’s healed have your ears repierced.

Oh, I don’t think so. I don’t know how much it would cost to have my ear lobes made virgin again, but I really wouldn’t spend more than a quarter to have it done.

Anything over that, and I’ll put in my retirement account. I think living on a fixed income will make me look older faster than my ear lobes do.

*Note: If you are actually close enough to me so you can see the piercings in my ears, I DO expect you to have paid for dinner first.
