Movie preview 2/08
Identity Thief is a movie that I desperately want to be good but one that makes me worry I’ve seen all the good parts in the trailer. And that trailer isn’t all that funny. I like Melissa McCarthy and I have a not-so-secret crush on Jason Bateman. It just seems to be a “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” for the twenty-teens. And there won’t be any pillows involved.
Side Effects has drawn me in because of the trailer. I want to know more about the side effects caused by this mysterious drug. It speaks to my rampant hypochondria and my love of mysteries. Mysteries in book form I often ruin because I read the ending. With Side Effects, I’m trying to stay away from anything that would give it away.
