This is all that remains of the harness that I bought Lizzie — less than a week ago.
She wore it when we went walking last night. When we were ready to go walking this morning, I looked for it, but it wasn’t hanging on a closet doorknob the way it’s supposed to. I searched but couldn’t find it.
When we returned, I was preparing for work when I saw her chewing something, then it hit me. I’d forgotten to take her harness off last night, and during her night in the kennel she chewed it off. And then chewed it some more for good measure.
Last night she also pulled a plant out of its pot and chewed on the pot. This is in addition to all the stuffed animals that have been evisceratedm leaving their stuffing innards scattered across my floors, and the time she spends on chew toys.
he has sharp little teeth, and I need to go to a shoe repair place to see if the strap on a pair of sandals can be replaced. A pair of slippers has been discarded, and she also managed to chew the straps off a sports bra that I’d left too close to the edge of the bed,
The clerk told me last weekend the harness is guaranteed. Guess who’s making another trip there today?
I thought this harness was pretty. And I hope they have another one in this design.
Even though my best bet would be one made of titanium.
